Its as though authors David Schow and Ted Rypel went to another dimension to retrieve it. This is the companion piece to Mr. Schows outstanding first volume on the Outer Limits. If you ever wondered what some of these bears looked like in color now is your chance to find out. Also the behind the scenes photos from the episodes is both captivating and amusing. I especially enjoyed the shot of the 2 Ikars { Robert Webber and Mike Lane } posing together on the set of The Keeper of the Purple Twilight and Mike Lane as Ikar reading the latest edition of Famous Monsters of Filmland which featured the Thetan on the cover. Another amusing picture is Joseph Stefano {one of the series creators } being hugged by the Chromoite while smoking a cigarette. There is also a chapter on OL toys, games, models and masks which is very intriguing because it shows items that were put out on the market as well ones that never made it. I always watched the show! This book brings back a lot of memories. If you're a fan, buy this book.
The ultimate guide to the ultimate tv sci fi series. I allways have and allways will have this opinion.
Scores of behind the scenes photos and anecdotes make this an invaluable reference guide.
The best thing about this book? It inspired me to get the dvds out again and watch the series again after too long.
Love this book! Rare, razor sharp photos, on high quality stock that's varnished as to not show fingerprints. A must~have for Outer Limits fans!
Great Book. Great complement to the original guide. Wish some of the new shows had this level of writing.
I was extremely happy and pleased to see another book from author David J.Schow on this much loved and revered science fiction anthology series. The behind the scenes set photos were a rare pleasure and the many products ( cards, comics, figures, etc,etc) pictured brought back some memories for me because I had a number of the items displayed (and wish I had them now!) at the tender age of 9/10 in 1963/64 that are now lost to the ravages of time. Highly recommend this for anyone interested in wanting to know more about this classic science fiction series that just "keeps getting better with age like a fine wine" as the saying goes....
Great book, however it works better with "The Official Outer Limits Companion" which is more detailed, episode by episode. This book provides a much smaller synopsis of each episode but has additional material not in the first book. If you're a fan, you can't miss with both.
